Our aim is to prove to these women that they are not forgotten
We hold the belief that of every woman who has an abortion, most would have made a different choice if they perceived that compassionate, nonjudgmental, easily accessible support was available.
We believe that because a woman’s conscience may dictate she makes a different choice, her needs shouldn’t be ignored. These are what we’ve identified as the “forgotten women.” The forgotten women are the tens of millions of women who would never have had an abortion if they had any other choice, along with the millions who struggle with the psychological effects of that choice.
We feel a sense of injustice when we see wealthy individual donors, major corporations, Hollywood celebrities, elected officials, labor unions, everyday 9-to-5 workers, college fraternities and sororities, and even Christians funding expensive last-minute plane tickets, hotel stays, money for food, traveling outfits, hair styling, ground transportation, etc. Everything she needs to have an abortion and nothing for the woman who’s struggling to avoid it. Perhaps for the second or third or fourth time.
